Questions, answered

Can I try it before asking for a trial?

Yes. Tap “Try it now” and you land inside a sample shop with made-up numbers. There's no signup, no card and nothing to fill in. Add a sale, look at the reports, ask the assistant a question. It's a shared demo, so please don't enter real business details there, and it closes on its own after a while. When you want your own private account, request a free trial.

What should I do once I'm in the demo?

Three quick things: open Selling and add a sale, open Money owed to see which invoices are overdue, then open Assistant and type “who owes me money?”. Reports shows your profit and loss. Nothing you do there is real, so click anything.

How does the free trial work?

You get 14 days with the whole product, every feature, on any plan. We don't take a card and there's nothing to cancel. If you don't continue, the trial simply ends.

I already run my business. Can I move over without starting from zero?

Yes. Pick a start date and enter the cash and stock you have that day. Then add what customers already owe you and what you owe suppliers. Those don't count as new sales or costs, so your past months stay clean. There's a step-by-step guide inside the app.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer or cash, however you normally pay suppliers. Tell us the plan and whether you want monthly or annual, and we send simple payment details. Your account is updated as soon as we record your payment. There's no card on file and nothing is ever charged automatically.

What happens if I forget to pay?

You get a reminder before the renewal date. If a renewal goes unpaid for about a week, the account can pause until it's settled. Nothing is deleted, and paying switches it back on straight away.

Does Balancr file my taxes or connect to my bank?

No. Balancr keeps your own books and produces reports you can hand to a bank or an accountant. It doesn't file returns or payroll forms, and it doesn't connect to tax systems or bank feeds. You stay in charge of what goes in.

Will it replace my accountant?

No, and it isn't meant to. Balancr is for running your business day to day on real numbers. Your accountant still handles filing and anything the law requires, and their job gets easier because your reports, exports and tax records are a click away.

What does the AI assistant do with my data?

It's optional. Only when someone uses it, their message and the parts of your records needed to answer it are sent to our AI provider to deal with that one request. It suggests entries and you confirm them. The details are in the Privacy policy.

Where is my data, and can I take it with me?

It's stored with Google Firebase, and only the people you invite can see it, each with the role you give them. You can download a full backup and export spreadsheets whenever you like. The data is yours.

Can my whole team use it?

Yes. Owner, Manager and Staff each get their own login with their own permissions. Plans are sized by team and support, never by features, so you're never missing something because of the plan you picked.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. You can keep working offline, in a shop with patchy signal for example, and it catches up the moment you're back online.

Can I change plan later?

Any time, just ask. There's no checkout or contract to untangle.
